First Phase – Preparation
Whether over the phone or in person, we will discuss your survey objectives in depth, answer any questions you have, and provide our recommendations.
ADVICE ON YOUR COMMUNICATION STRATEGY
We will help you in announcing the survey, encouraging participation, and communicating the results.
ADVICE ON ANALYSIS
Based on your survey objectives and best practices, we work with you in determining the most appropriate and helpful analytical and reporting methods.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE SURVEY
Based on your survey objectives we will design the survey using both our database of pre-constructed questions and any custom questions and areas of inquiry you may wish to add to reflect your unique situation.
Second Phase – Launch & Administration
EMPLOYEE NOTIFICATION & COMMUNICATION
Where possible, and to provide the greatest level of anonymity, the survey invitation to each participant would be delivered directly from us and would contain each participant’s personal and unique link to the survey. (Where this is not feasible other delivery methods are available.)
We provide real-time completion rates whenever you want them – both overall, and by sub-group. We can also extend the survey close to bring in a few more responses. Finally, we can send out reminders as needed if this is part of the communication plan.
Third Phase – Analysis & Reporting

REPORT OF VERBATIM COMMENTS
Comments de-linked from the participants for anonymity.
Year-on-year reports are part of the basic package for recurring customers and are based on the current vs. one-previous review.
We provide one breakdown by subgroup as part of the basic package. Examples would be Department, Position, Location, Years of Service, “Generation” … or anything that you’d like that would not compromise confidentiality.
Questions beyond the 50 provided for in the basic package and added to the questionnaire as requested or advised.
MULTI-YEAR ANALYSIS (BEYOND 2 YEARS)
Assuming that we either have or you can provide us with 3 or more years of data.
ADDITIONAL BREAKDOWNS BY SUB-GROUPS
We can provide additional breakdowns beyond the one sub-group included in the Basic Package (where it does not compromise anonymity).
SEPARATE MANAGEMENT / EMPLOYEE QUESTIONS
We can modify the survey to display questions differently for Management and Employees; for example by asking “As a manager …” rather than “My manager …” where applicable.
IN-DEPTH STATISTICAL ANALYSES
These can include correlations, regressions, factor analysis (aka. “variable reduction”), etc.
We can analyze verbatim comments for themes, parsing them into categories to produce simple frequency reports or correlation with other criteria (ex. department or location).
For both surveys and invitation emails we can send an appropriate language version (ex. “English/French” or “English/Spanish”) to each participant where this is known beforehand, and/or allow each participant to make the choice of preferred language at the start of the questionnaire.
These services can be provided pre, post, or in lieu of the survey
We can develop a communication strategy to roll-out employee engagement survey results throughout your organization.
Employee focus groups are a way to obtain qualitative information. They are often used after an employee survey to dig deeper into employee perceptions.
We help client teams develop action plans to respond to employee survey results.
We train managers and supervisors to understand employee engagement and survey results and prepare them to conduct meetings with their employees on these topics.
